Dr. Mohd Khairuddin Ramliy holds a Master of Science in IT Entrepreneurship & PhD of Management (Open Innovation). His expertise lies in technology innovation, technology transfer and commercialisation, entrepreneurship and project management. He formerly held several positions in non-academic and academic in the private organisation, business consultant, and an entrepreneur since 2007. As he is very passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship, technology commercialisation, and SMEs development, he thrives more connections in the same aspect and building relationships for future academic advancement in business and industrial settings.

He actively provides halal professional board training program, halal awareness training, halal eLearning session as well as halal industry consultation. Noor Yasmin Zainun

Ir. Dr. Noor Yasmin Zainun is an associate professor in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). She joined UTHM in 2003 and graduated her PhD in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University, UK in 2012. Her Expertise lies in the field of construction management. After graduated she was appointed as the department panel chief for 6 years, head of solid waste management project in UTHM, head of research cluster for Sustainable Construction and Management (SCM), fellow researcher Jamilus Research Center (JRC) under sustainable construction, managing editor for International Journal of Construction Technology and Management, academia industry ambassador, Industry Advisor for Department of Civil Engineering in Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah and many other committees. She had won various awards on her research innovations and successfully commercial the products. Her computerized model on forecasting low-cost housing demand in urban area in Malaysia won gold medal and Korean Special Invention award in 15th International Invention, Innovation, Industrial Design & Technology Exhibition (I-TEX 2004). She had developed a Low-Cost Housing Demand Predictor (LoCHDeP) system and collaborated with SIRIM Berhad in developing Housing Demand Predictor (HDeP) system. The research was funded by Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Malaysia. In 2013 she venture in solid waste management research and developed Solid Waste Illegal Dumping Waste (SWID) Web and won 5 awards in 2015 including; gold medal and best award at Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE); gold medal at Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF); gold medal and University Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) Innovation award at The International Conference And Exposition On Innovations (PECIPTA’15). Other than that, she won 6 gold medal and 1 best theme award in 2019 for her smart composter machine. Her involvement in industries bring her to develop food waste grinder machine for Sarjani Agro Shop under Demand-Driven Innovation Project by Public-Private Research Network (PPRN). Her case studies research in Malaysia bring her to create Solid Waste Research Center in UTHM. Currently, her research study is on solid waste management using Black Soldier Fly Larva (BSFL).

Maninouth Phothilath

Maninouth Phothilath is a lecturer at the Faculty of Food Science Faculty, Savannakhet University, Laos. where she has been a faculty member since 2009, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Champasak University, obtained in 2009, and a Master’s degree in Rural Economics and Sociology from Hanoi University of Agriculture, Vietnam completed in 2012. She is currently serving as the Acting Head of the Agribusiness – Marketing Department at the Food Science Faculty of Savannakhet University in Laos PDR, she has made significant contributions to the academic and research community. Her expertise spans various subjects, including Agribusiness Management, Basic English, and Human Resource Management. Additionally, her research interests are focused on (1) Labor Migration to Thailand in Kaisonphomvihane District, Savannakhet Province, Laos. as well as (2) the Impact of COVID-19 on Lao Migration, with a specific case study on migrant workers from Savannakhet Province returning from the Kingdom of Thailand, (3) Marketing of Vegetable Industry in PakXong District, Champasak province and (4) Labor Demand and Supply of Special SAVAN – SENO Economic Zones, (5) Study the Potential of Agricultural Production in 3 Central Provinces ( Bolikhamxay, Khammoun, Savannakhet province).  Her dedication to education, extensive experience, and valuable research make her a highly respected and influential figure in her field.

Sitha Khemmarath

Sitha KHEMMARATH is senior lecturer and research from Faculty of Food Science Savannakhet University (LAO PDR). He received his bachelor and master degree in Machanical and Agricultural Engineering From Agricultural Science University of Gödöllő (Hungary), in Agricultural and Post-harvest Technology from University of the Philippines Los Banos (Philippines), Post-graduate in  Food Science and Technology (Major in Crop and Animal Product Processing Technology) from Ecole Nationale Supérieures des industries  agricoles et alimentaires,  Section des Industries Alimentaires dans les régions chaudes, Montpellier, (France) and Ph.D. in Agricultural Science and Biological Engineering from   Faculté Universitaire des Sciences Agronomiques de Gembloux, Unversité de Liège Belgium. He got his title of Associate professor in 2005.

His major field of specialization is Rural Economics and Development; currently Teaching Development Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Agrarian System and Applied Research in Rural Economy. His research areas is focus more on rural economy and development; exploring and tapping rural potentiality of geographic diversity of Lao PDR in order to help subsistent farmers to go for commercialized production so as to for them to get rid of poverty.

He has been vice president for research and post-graduate study at Savannakhet University, managing ADB support fund called Competitive Research Fund (CRF) for the university researchers and Lao Government Funds for Agricultural Development. He currently becomes freelance specialist for research and rural development project evaluation. And he is senior technical advisor for Outreach Center for Research Development and Training (RDT) at Savannakhet University as well as back supporter for ANGELA and other EU funded projects implemented in Savannakhet Univeristy.

Som Pea

Mr. Pea SOM is the Assistant Training Manager and Recruitment, at Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Center, Siem Reap, Cambodia. He got his master’s degree in management at the University of South-East Asia (USEA). He supervises and controls the outlet to the required standards and helps the outlet to achieve the budget. He has been awarded Certificate III of ASEAN Qualification in guest service of the Food & beverage Service Division. Furthermore, he is a Master Trainer in Food and Beverage Service.

Oeum Ratana

Mr. RATANA Oeum is the executive director of Community-Based Integrated Development Organization, Siem Reap, Cambodia. He won an Australia award to further his master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The University of Adelaide, South Australia. His interest of research is Entrepreneurial opportunities in social entrepreneurship. He is a volunteer in fundraising (social enterprise) for Australian Red Cross, North Haven branch in South Australia, 4 hours per week (around 90 hours in total) and also a peer mentor for Semester-2 2020 programme Mentored two international students, Faculty of the Professions, the University of Adelaide. Furthermore, he’s got Community Leadership Award 2021, given by the Australian Alumni Association of Cambodia and Australia Awards Scholarship (Fully funded) Scholarship Awardee for a two-year master’s programme in South Australia.

Rady Chum

Mr. Rady CHUM is the General Manager of Metta Residence & Spa, Siem Reap, Cambodia. He’s got his master’s degree in Business Administration and bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management at University of South-East Asia (USEA). With years of experience in management and executive positions, he has consistently achieved promotions into roles with increasing responsibilities. His extensive managerial knowledge, tertiary education, and business acumen have allowed me to excel in various departments such as front of the house, back of the house, food & beverage, and operations. As a result, he possess a well-rounded capability in hotel management, along with the ability to identify and implement improvements that enhance productivity, engage employees, elevate the customer experience, and drive business expansion.

Tran Thanh Hung

Tran Thanh Hung has received a BE degree from Can Tho University, Vietnam, a MSc degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam, both in Electronic Engineering, and a PhD degree in Engineering from University of Technology, Sydney, Australia in 1996, 2000 and 2008, respectively. He is currently a Vice Dean of the College of Engineering, Can Tho University, Vietnam. Since 2018, he has been actively engaged in the BUILDIT project with Arizona State University, supported by USAID, with the aim of cultivating an environment that nurtures innovation and entrepreneurship among students. During this time, he has provided guidance and mentorship to multiple groups of students participating in innovative and entrepreneurial competitions.

Van-Khanh Nguyen

Dr. Van-Khanh Nguyen received his Doctor of Engineering degree from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, Japan, in 2020. Since 2007, he has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Automation Technology, College of Engineering, Can Tho University. Currently, he is the head of the PLC and Industrial IoT Lab. His research interests concentrate on embedded systems and AIoT- and IoT-based applications in environmental and agricultural control. He is engaged in technology innovation and creation in addition to giving lectures and conducting research. In 2023, he and his team won a runner-up award for a technology innovation and creation competition held by the Mekong River Commission (MRC) in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

Noor Raihani Binti Zainol

Noor Raihani Binti Zainol is a senior lecturer at Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan where she has been a faculty member since 2012. She received her Master of Science (Management) (2011) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia (2008). She completed her Ph.D Degree at UNISZA, Terengganu, Malaysia in social entrepreneurship. Currently, she is the Director of ANGKASA-UMK Research Academy (AURA). Her area of expertise includes entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, social innovation, management and business administration. She received many grants, particularly Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS), Prototype Grant from UMK, Ministry of Finance Grant, Yunus Centre of Social Business (YCSB) Grant from UKM, Research Acculturation Grant Scheme (RAGS) from the Ministry of Education, Yayasan Sejahtera, Malaysian Youth Development Research Institute Research Grant, a PERMATA Grant from National Child Development Research Centre, and a Case Study from ABEM and Ministry of Education and etc. She also active in community services as a mentor, facilitator, and speaker for many social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship project including Ministry of Finance project, collaboration with social enterprises and non-government organisation (NGO), Asnaf/ B40 Club Welfare, Social Enterprise Incubator Program (SEIP), Social Enterprise for Economic Development (SEED) program and Global Enterprise Experience (GEE)–ANZ Team Award. She was a keynote speaker for International Conference on Emerging Trends in Management and Technology and webinar Series in Indonesia. She is an active author and published many academic papers on entrepreneurship and management and participated in various international conferences.

Anja Juliah

Hasika Mith

Asst. Prof. Dr. MITH Hasika, graduated his doctorate degree in Food Sciences in 2014 from University of Liège, Belgium. He has started his teaching career at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia since 2006 until present, and is handling Food Microbiology, Food Preservation and processing, and Food Product Development in the Faculty of Chemical and Food Engineering. Currently, he is also a researcher under the Food Technology and Nutrition Research Unit. Asst. Prof. Dr. MITH Hasika is the project investigator of some projects (1) improvement and development of rice-based products toward better growth of SMEs/Industries in Cambodia, funded by Higher Education Improvement Project (HEIP), (2) Development of high nutritional value farmed fish and safe processed products in Cambodia, funded by Belgian ARES-PRD. He has a remarkable experience working with private sectors in solving the problems in terms of product quality and safety, improvement of quality of existing products and development of new food product through short-term projects of USAID-Harvest-II, CAVEC-KE and UNIDO. Beside these works, Asst. Prof. Dr. MITH Hasika also involves genuinely in guiding and supervising students of engineering level, master level and especially doctoral level through collaboration with French and Belgian partnering universities. He has produced a numerous national and international publications, and joined several local and international workshops and conferences.

Sreytouch Sem

SEM Sreytouch is currently a president of Cambodia Honey Association (CHA); a Co-founder of E.P.L Pollinate Company; a Board Chairperson of Wedu Cambodia Organization, and a rising star & global mentor of the WEDU Global of leadership program; a Board of Director of HRAC (Human Resource Association of Cambodia); and a
former council member of GEDI (Gender, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusive) for Pact Global. Sreytouch has more than 15 years of experience working in the field of Business Development, Business Planning, and Project Management. She has professional experience working in the field of management including Business Operation, Event Planning, Public relations, Sales, Marketing, Administration, HR, and Quality Control in private sector companies and International Organizations in Cambodia and the United States of America. Meanwhile, Sreytouch is currently also working for Pact Cambodia Organization as the Business Engagement Manager of Women Entrepreneurs Act project (WE Act) project under funds by USAID. She is responsible for providing technical and strategic oversight for programming to

1) Build and strengthen the entrepreneurship eco-system through entrepreneurship programs, private sector engagement, access to finance, access to market, advocacy issues, and coalition;
2) Review work-plan based on partners under supervising’ SOW (Scope of works) and grant monitoring (WE Act: 41 partners (entrepreneurs, private & civic partners), and 8500 young women entrepreneurs (YWEs); 7 geographic areas (Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Battambang, Kampong Cham, Preah Sihanouk, Kompot, Kept));
3) Manages specific activities with the objective of providing young women entrepreneurs and youth with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary, and engaging B2B business linkage to succeed as entrepreneurs and to grow their businesses; and
4) Developing proposal plans for new donor opportunities.

Reasmey Tan

Asst. Prof. Dr. TAN Reasmey received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Food Engineering from Institute of Technology of Cambodia (2005), Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University in the Philippines (2007), and Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan (2011). She is currently a Deputy Director of Research and Innovation Center at Institute of Technology of Cambodia. She has over 10 years of experience researching and teaching. For her research, she focus on vegetable and cereal fermentation, food product development and innovation, pathogens and multidrug-resistant bacteria in lake and river waters, and anaerobic digestion of sludge. Under Higher Education Improvement Project (HEIP) of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, she focuses on “Development of Fermentation Process for
Cambodian Soy Sauce” and “Development of Cooking Oil Processes for Commercialization”. She also works on development of cookies and tempeh from soybean residue, instant fish soups and oyster sauce. In addition, she teaches General Microbiology, Food Biotechnology and Food Processing in the Faculty of Chemical and Food Engineering.

Sum Rithea

Mr. Sum Rithea graduated a Master’s degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand. His expertise lies in Analog and Digital Circuit Design, Hardware and Software Co-design using FPGA and Zynq Platforms, Data Acquisition, IoT applications, and Signal Processing Algorithms.
He is currently a lecturer in this field, and he is committed to pushing the boundaries of electronics engineering through innovative applications. He has a publication: R. Sum, S. Phing Lim

Phing Lim was born in Battambang, Cambodia, in March 1998. He graduated from Phreah Monivong high school and then went to Institute of Technology of Cambodia where he received B.Eng in electrical engineering. His research interest includes control systems, robotics, embedded systems, and power electronics. He received Graduate Scholarship for ASEAN and Non-ASEAN Countries from Chulalongkorn University to study in a master’s program at the department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. Risa Virgosita

Risa Virgosita is a lecturer at the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She obtained her bachelor degree in the same place. She had her master degree from EDHEC in Nice, France. She holds a Ph.D in Entrepreneurship from the University of Agder, Norway. In the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada, she teaches Entrepreneurship-related courses, such as Entrepreneurship, Business Modelling, and Business Planning. Rokhima Rostiani

Rokhima is a lecturer at the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She earned her Bachelor in Economics from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Master of Science in Management from Tohoku University, Japan, and Postgraduate Certificate in Research in Business and Management from Strathclyde Business School. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Megawati Syahril

Mega is the founder and CEO at PT Sagata Sukses Bersama, which focuses on empowering crafters with disabilities. She obtained her Master of Business Administration from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. During her study, she participated in a student exchange program at Rotterdam School of Management, The Netherland. Mega has various works experiences such as working in private companies, being lecturer, and managing a business. Her main interest and activities are in marketing and entrepreneurship. Advanced Diploma of Business Management, Victoria University of Technology, Victoria, Australia, December 2000- 2001, concentrating on Accounting Management Internal Control, and External Auditing. Civil Engineering (Major Irrigation Construction) Institute of Building and Architecture (IBA), Vientiane, 1980-1984. Attended training course on Food safety-PROSAFE program. Her working experiences in the professional occupation are very important for Lao society both in the private and public sectors. With the private sector, she was a Financial Operating Director for all project implementation such as being the coordinator with key partners for MoU signing with DOA, MOFA, VFT, FOA, and VFI. She was also a Financial Manager for Catholic Relief Service, a Senior Finance and Operation Manager of The Asia Foundation, Lao PDR, a Finance and Administration Manager of Abt Associates Inc., Lao PDR, a Finance Manager of Population Services International (PSI) Lao PDR. And being an Internal Auditor of PSI Lao, Finance and Administration Supervisor of KPMG Lao Co., Ltd, a global network professional audit firm. She was a project coordinator of Institutional Strengthening of the State Audit Authority Project (ADB TA: 3771/LAO), SAA- Prime Minister Office in 2003-2004. In the public sector, she is an I was an inspector of the Inspection Department, Ministry of Communication, Transport, Post, and Construction (MCTPC) in 2002 to 2003 by assisting senior technical staff mad the Director of the inspection department in preparing the report for management review and she was assigned as a member of inspection team by the Prime Minister as representative of inspector of Communication Transportation Post and Construction Ministry to inspect and audit road No. 12 construction project in Khammouan province.

Bounthom Sisoumang

Dr. Bounthom SYSOUMANG works at Champasak University (CU), Faculty of Economics and Management, Lao PDR. She began her career at CU in 2003 and received her
PhD in agricultural economics from Kasetsart University in Thailand in 2013. Her area of specialization is economics. In the professional arena, she played a pivotal role in the implementation of concrete road projects in Champasak province, Laos, from 2001 to 2002. This early foray into project management set the stage for a distinguished career in academia and project coordination. Bounthom’s impactful contributions extend beyond the classroom. Their involvement in various projects, such as AOTS, EURASIA, SFARM, and ANGLE, showcases a commitment to bridging academic theory with real-world applications. Notably, their role as a project manager for SMCS Project under USAID highlights a dedication to creating positive change on a global scale. In the realm of research, she has made significant contributions with publications in esteemed journals, exploring topics ranging from the operational efficiency of village development funds to the impact of international migrant workers on household income and
expenditure. Their work on biodiversity valuation and taxation income efficiency in Champasak Province reflects a commitment to understanding and addressing pressing
issues facing local communities. Currently serving as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at Champasak University, she continues to shape the minds of students, imparting knowledge in courses such as Microeconomics, Economic Development, Labour and Population Economics, and World Economy.

Net Wanna

Mr Net Wanna has worked in various industries and sectors including higher education, language education, library education and information science, business and entrepreneurship, aid and development project management. He is currently a Director at Hun Sen Library of the Royal University of Phnom Penh. In voluntary capacity, Wanna is Secretary General of the Cambodians Librarians and Documentarists of Cambodia; and Country Coordinator for the Cambodian Electronic Information for Libraries. He holds a BBA (management) from the National University of Management, a Master of Library and Information Science and a Graduate Certificate in International Development and Policy Management from the University of Washington, USA.

Or Vitou

Dr. Or Vitou serves as the Director of the University-Industry Cooperation Center (UICC) at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). Since 2007, he has held various roles at RUPP, including trainer in business, entrepreneurship, human resource management, and project management. Dr. Vitou brings extensive experience across multiple sectors, including education, business development, banking, life insurance, property development, and project management, with involvement in EU, World Bank, and ADB projects, as well as government and private sectors. He holds a Doctorate, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, in addition to an undergraduate degree in TESOL. Dr. Vitou has been a dedicated member of the RUPP faculty since 2007.
