ANGEL Hubs – one in each Partner University– are centres for technology entrepreneurship development, joint ventures for the development of early-stage start-ups in green technologies, energy and natural sciences, ICT and engineering. They focus on green technologies, energy and sustainable development, in line with the national developmental priorities.
ANGEL Hubs provide the space and resources for creating a stimulating environment for aspiring start-ups. Although they have been developed with the support of the relevant departments’ faculty staff, researchers and PhD students, they are open to all departments, encouraging a multidisciplinary approach. Their operation will be supervised and supported by the ANGEL Innovate Units.
ANGEL Hubs are expected to be a focal point for faculty/students’ entrepreneurship, operating in parallel with ANGEL Innovate Units, which are designed to be focal points for University administration.
